The Best Kept Secret in Baltimore The Kiwanis Club of East Baltimore was organized October 1, 1947, as the Kiwanis Club of Highlandtown. In 1987 it changed its name to the Kiwanis Club of East Baltimore to better describe the community it had grown to serve. The club serves the East Baltimore communities of Little Italy, Fells Point, Johns Hopkins-Broadway, Canton, Highlandtown, Orangeville, Rosedale, White Marsh, Dundalk, Essex and Middle River. Our motto is "Serving the children of the world." Young Children are "Priority One" in club service projects. All our projects are proposed and selected by our members based on the needs of the communities we serve.
